After much thought, discussion, and prayer, I am humbly seeking your support to serve as your President.
I’m running because I firmly believe, I am the right choice at this critical time. One who can provide unity and stability within our diverse Party.
I firmly believe diversity of opinion, convictions and culture makes us stronger as a Party. However, the respect for that diversity will make us successful as a Party.
My wife Jan, who has been a pillar in my life for over 26 years, are blessed to have three daughters and are proud to call the County of Two Hills home.
I certainly have the board and governance experience. But beyond the resume and beyond the skillset and I feel more importantly is my energy, passion and commitment to our Party. A Party we all helped build for a conservative cause we all share.
I am not a Conservative out of convenience or only when it is convenient. I have been there with so many of you on the front lines. Those who have worked and served with me will attest, that I don’t make or base my decisions on a person’s affiliation, last name or the size of their bank account.
I remain objective and goal orientated while holding firm to my Christian fundamental beliefs and always guided by my Conservative principles.
I have and will always be a fierce advocate for true freedom! Freedom of expression, freedom of choice, freedom of opportunity. To some these are just words, to others it’s a call to action. For me, it is much more deeper. I experienced living within a tyrannical system – apartheid. I know what’s it like to have the right to public debate or even vote suppressed or removed altogether. I lived it!
Marco, I have the grit, the fortitude, and the backbone to make difficult decisions, just like I did as a School Trustee (during the height of Covid) voting against additional Covid restrictions being implemented in our schools. Also, publicly opposing a vaccine mandate for our approx. 600 staff members.
I have the energy, enthusiasm and experience serving on the provincial executive. I know what the job entails, I am ready to hit the ground running on day one.
If I am fortunate to earn your support, I pledge to you that our Party will never be a top down organization, always a grassroots driven one.
Together, we will ensure our Party remains successful and our province remains a beacon of opportunity for decades to come.
I am really looking forward to our AGM which will serve as another perfect opportunity to reconnect as a conservative family!

Although Alberta Conservatives have talked about being united, fact is we have been dis-united for decades. All candidates are passionately committing to unite the party behind our freedom fighting leader, and Premier, Danielle Smith.
But passion isn’t enough as evidenced by the fact we have come nowhere near to being united through Premiers Alison Redford, Ed Stelmach and more recently Jason Kenney.
I believe for us to accomplish UNITY we need a comprehensive, well thought out PLAN to change our party from its traditional top down “do as we say” culture, to one that is bottom-up listening and responding to the grassroots members.
My BIO
The Presidency is an unpaid volunteer position. My lifetime of volunteering has provided me with the experience to implement the plan of operating a grassroots, bottom up culture and structure in the party.
-Current President of Calgary Fish Creek, and past President of multiple Federal and Provincial constituency associations.
-Campaign Manager, Chief Financial Officer of over a dozen Federal and Provincial Nomination and general election campaigns.
-Community volunteer as President of various boards and associations, most notably President of the Trico Centre for Family Wellness from 2006 – 2010, for which I was Nominated in 2010 for Volunteer of the Year for the City of Calgary.
-Recipient in February, 2023 of the Queens Platinum Jubilee Award for a “lifetime of dedication to volunteering and the promotion of grassroots democracy in our communities, the City of Calgary and the Province of Alberta”.
-Corporate: Founder, President and CEO of Computer Upgrading Specialists Ltd. for over 25 years, (www.computerupgraders.ca) a successful IT company now completely operated by my son and business partner, allowing me to devote 100% of my time to UNITING the party,
My promise: As your President, I promise to serve you with truth and humility. My most important responsibility is to listen, then speak for YOU, the MEMBER, to Danielle Smith, our Leader and Premier, and the caucus. I promise to represent members of the ENTIRE POLITICAL SPECTRUM and LEAD the Executive to do the same.
Sincerely, Jack Redekop
I Pledge to:
(1) Deliver on the party commitment to put “Members in Control and in the Driver’s Seat”.
(2) Respecting, engaging, listening, and representing all Alberta conservatives.
(3) To provide a direct communication path for members through their boards and Presidents to the party Executive up to the Leader (Premier) and caucus, and directly COMMUNICATE back to the members their responses.
(4) To redirect party resources to focusing on providing fundraising, membership, and administration training and support to constituency associations.
(5) To sponsor and actively participate in Youth and New Canadian outreach programs that focus on conservative VALUES – not partisan politics.
Please visit my website for complete details on my qualifications and plan to UNITE the party by changing the culture and structure to a “bottom up” grassroots organization.
Check out my series of 2 minute videos describing how, if I have the privilege to serve you as your President, I can accomplish this.

A Voice For Every Member
Patti Vold was born and raised on a farm in the Eastern Irrigation District of Southern Alberta. Patti took her secondary education at the Canadian Lutheran Bible Insitute and Augustana University College both located in Camrose.
She has been married to her husband for 41 years and they live together on a farm east of Ponoka where they have raised a “crop” of 9 children; 5 biological and 4 adopted from Haiti. Their12 grandchildren are also a great joy.
Patti home-schooled her children for over 20 years and was able to keep that well organized while also driving them to piano, sports, tutoring, choir and drama. She also volunteered as a gymnastics coach during that time.
Over the last 3 years Patti has travelled to many community halls helping to educate UCP members on elections, how a CA should operate, and engaging in political conversations with the people of central Alberta. She has learned a great deal and is ready to put her knowledge to work in a new capacity.
Patti Vold sits on the CA boards of Camrose and Ponoka/Lacombe. She is also on the board for her church and of the Haitian Children's Aid Society (www.hcas.ca) of which she is a co-founder.
Patti's goal is to listen to the people of the Central Region and bring their concerns and ideas back to the provincial board. Each region has unique needs and we need to work together to best listen and take action.
Patti believes we need to protect and develop the resources of Alberta to create a strong and prosperous community for future generations.
Our greatest resource is the people of this province and we must work hard and stay involved to create and sustain a strong Alberta for every citizen of Alberta.

I have ran as a Candiate in Edmonton and have faced the challenges that are in place for the ca boards and future Candiate's. Communication and direction is very important for Edmonton if we are to even have a chance at any seats. Given the chance to be director I want to work with the ca boards and party and put forward a motion where ca s have the right to push forward with Candiate's that want to run given the fair opportunity for others if they like to contest as well. We want to help have 20 functioning ca boards that can fundraise as well as help find campaign managers that are home bred from alberta rather than looking for individuals out of province come election time. I know this is a voluntary position but it is a position that comes with responsibility so we have to make sure that the person elected recognizes that this has to be treated very seriously so we don't put ourselves in a situation where ca boards are left divided and without direction come next election.
Our freedom and our families freedom is being challenged and taken away from us the ndp has put councillors and school trustees in play along with with other positions and it's time we give them a push back as I have always fought with other groups and individuals to make sure Edmonton stays free and our rights to raise our children and our families is not forced on us by other outside powers.
The time is now to get started on campaigning and bring our Edmonton ucp family all on the same page thank you and I look forward for your support.
I have a lovely wife and am father to three beautiful kids one daughter Jadyn and 2 boys I am a journeyman plumber by profession and run a small local construction/ mechanical company.

My motivation for joining the UCP Provincial Board as Director-Edmonton:
Born and raised in Edmonton, I love Alberta, and I'm concerned about the rising risks to our communities. The streets aren't safe, and our values, rights, and the economy are all being threatened.
I believe it will take strong political leadership, with the right advisors and infrastructure, to defend Alberta's Charter rights, attract investment and build this great province to its full potential. I want to contribute my expertise and energy to Edmonton's 20 constituency associations, and their members.
Specifically, I have an action plan to get more MLAs elected in Edmonton by building up the conservative movement across the city. We need to do better for our family and friends across this province who voted for Danielle Smith's government. Zero victories in Edmonton created a massive liability for the party.
I am a promoter of Alberta. I run a corporate advisory business here in Edmonton. Recently I've volunteered four years with a charity as the treasurer. I also coached baseball for two seasons; and was a board member and supported families who needed driving to games/practices for three years.
Previously I worked in equity trading in Tokyo for more than a decade, where I ran a desk of seven traders before returning to Alberta with my family.
I look forward to seeing you at the AGM on November 3 & 4 in Calgary, and in the meantime I would be happy to connect to answer any questions you have or get feedback on how you think I can make a difference in our great city, and province.

Hello, my name is Kelsey Beasley.
I live in east central Alberta, Special Areas. I am currently a director for the Drumheller-Stettler Constituency Association Board. I was asked if I would run for the party board southern Alberta director position, and I am pleased to meet you.
I am running for this position: what matters to me and why I am doing this.
Integrity: Being in integrity with one’s word and actions, conducted through honesty and authenticity. Answering the call to a higher purpose for future generations.
Family: Stewardship of the family unit, guarding our children while developing
resilience.
Prosperity: Looking to ensure that our created future allows Alberta & Albertans the possibility to enhance prosperity, protect freedoms & ensure self determination.
Heritage: Honouring and keeping that to which is unique to Alberta and Albertans, our amazing heritage.
Spirit: The essence and spirit of being Albertan, endowed by natural law, embodied by something greater than oneself and expressed by our incredible landscape.
A little about myself. I am a scientist by trade, a shepherd by inclination and a fifth generation Albertan, born and raised in Alberta on a mixed farm. My family has an extended history in agriculture, construction, resource management, and oil & gas here in this province and abroad.
I currently ranch alongside my husband John, near Youngstown, AB with our three children,Hannah, Jasper & Clara.
Upon graduating my local high school, I enrolled in Red Deer College and then transferred to the University of Saskatchewan, graduating with a B.Sc. Degree in Biomedical Science (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology). John and I married on his family's satellite ranch in western Manitoba, where we managed operations for several years and started our family. In 2009 we had the opportunity to return to Alberta and have been running and growing our agribusiness since.
I’ve been an avid volunteer in multiple organizations and have held several board
positions including the Manitoba Round Table for Sustainable Development, Big Country Ag Society, Alberta Sheep Breeders Association, Youngstown Kindergarten Association, Youngstown School Council, Green Hectares and the UCP CA for Drumheller Stettler.
As a devoted mother, partner, equestrian and outdoorswoman, you will find me with my family, shepherding the sheep flock, riding the grasslands, and exploring in the wilderness; back country camping, fly fishing, hunting, hiking, or climbing mountains. I am an ambassador and advocate for ruminant agriculture, ecology, conservation, biodiversity, soil health, local food security and rural communities.
Alberta will always need strong leadership, rural voices, and a straightforward, commonsense approach to governance of this beautiful place we call home. Southern Alberta is a historical and considerable region that has contributed significantly to the foundation for our province’s prosperity. Stewardship & governance go hand in hand and the UCP as the party in confidence of our legislative assembly and provincial executive council is responsible for
overseeing something considered worth caring for and protecting: our created future and the gifts and resources that have been entrusted to all of us in this province. The decisions & policies made today require a voice of authenticity and reason for Alberta and Albertans and that means being in integrity as a membership, including but not limited to, conscious communication to and from the associations.
Looking forward to the future.

His insider experience with education and healthcare approaches from around the world gives him a unique insight into how to make Alberta better in one of the areas we take pride in – providing world-class healthcare to the people of this great province.
He is a clinical lecturer with the University of Calgary, and he teaches medical students, and nurse practitioners and mentors international medical doctors looking for an opportunity to work in Alberta. Sara-Lyn Quist and her husband Larry have six kids ages 7-22 and make their home in Three Hills. Which is at the top end of the Southern region. She’s an active member of the Olds-Didisbury-Three Hills CA board. She also ran the satellite campaign office in town and organized all the volunteers for that riding in the May election. Along with that she ran a very cool social media initiative during the election called Alberta Speaks, inviting Albertans to Speak Up during the election as to why they were voting conservative.
Bringing politics to her community has been very important to her. She’s hosted seven MLA’s at various events with an effort to connect our politicians to the people who need to be heard. She believes all political engagement is essential and should be encouraged if we’re to see consistent, good governance. Apathy got us here and connection and communication will go a long ways to getting us out.
She saw how deeply the last three years affected all age demographics in our province and our country. She never wants to be so deeply divided again by any type of government overreach. She determined that she would do everything in her power to bring confidence to Albertans that they would be listened to in the future.
She strongly supports parental rights and choice in education.
Integrity is important to her “I pledge to every Albertan that my convictions are not for sale. I listen to the values and beliefs of down to earth, common sense Albertans and my voice will represent them.”

My name is James Stoutjesdyk, and I am running for the position of Southern Director. Residing near Nobleford on an acreage with a hobby farm, my wife and I, along with our five active children aged 5-17, enjoy activities such as riding horses, raising steers for 4-H, dirt biking, and actively participating in our church and school community.
Statement of Purpose: Many ask me, "What made you put yourself out there as a candidate for becoming a board member?" My motivation for running for Southern Director stems from a concern for the future. We live in a society where our children are sent to school to be educated in life skills.
Unfortunately, schools have become places where they are made to question everything in their lives, to the point of even questioning their biological gender, yet somehow, multiplication remains complicated! We live in a time where leftist ideology is infiltrating every aspect of daily life. We are told to believe that abortion and MAID are somehow acceptable, that people should be reliant on government assistance, and where hard work, productivity, and prosperity are often criticized.
Concerns and Commitments: Looking at what goes on around us, where our culture is becoming increasingly liberal and "woke," where socialism is seeping into every facet, and where policies hurting children, marriages, families, the unborn, elderly, businesses, and productivity are endorsed by public leaders, it is clear that changes are needed. We also live in a time where many public officials are not being held accountable to taxpayers, personal agendas take precedence, and constituents are ignored. These situations ought not to be!
Vision and Goals: I aspire to be a socially conservative voice, guiding government towards grassroots efforts. My aim is to have our government adopt and implement policies voted on by us, the grassroots members, becoming the platform by which our province is governed, as a true grassroots party. I intend to work towards keeping our government more accountable and encouraging them to uphold our traditional values rooted in faith, family, and freedom.
Community Engagement: On the flip side, I also hope to continue to encourage constituents to buy party memberships, be involved in their local CA Boards, attend local and provincial AGMs, and actively participate in policy voting.
Together, we can make a difference and make Alberta the best place to live!
With a commitment based on common sense, integrity, family and community, I believe that I am the right choice for the position of Southern Director for the United Conservative Party of Alberta.
